Yangshuo Tax Bureau: Mobile Invoicing Made Instant as Digital Tools Boost Compliance

Tax officials from Yangshuo County in Guangxi visited the Zhang Yimou Art School to coach students on applying for labour-remuneration invoices, issuing electronic invoices for services provided to the Liu Sanjie performance series and marking a shift to digital, smart invoicing in this area. Previously, individuals applying for labour invoices had to bring paper contracts and ID documents to the service hall and queue during peak tourist season; now enterprises initiate applications on the e-tax bureau website while students pay taxes and issue invoices on their phones, completing the whole process online. Company accounting staff said the two-way model puts the initiative in the enterprise's hands while ensuring individuals obtain compliant invoices. The bureau will keep promoting electronic invoices for labour remuneration.

Tax officials from Yangshuo County in Guangxi recently visited the Zhang Yimou Art School to coach staff and students on labour-remuneration invoicing, helping them issue electronic invoices for services provided to the Liu Sanjie performance series. In the past, applying for labour invoices meant taking time off to bring paper contracts and ID documents to the service hall and queuing during the tourist season; now enterprises submit applications on the e-tax bureau website while students pay taxes and issue invoices on their phones, completing the whole process online. The school's accountant said that previously only students could issue invoices to the school, whereas now the enterprise can initiate applications, putting the initiative and control in its own hands and saving effort on both sides. Tax officials said online issuance shortens manual review time and cuts error rates while making labour-remuneration payments easier, and the bureau will continue promoting electronic invoices for individual labour remuneration among flexible workers.
