Tax Data Shows AI Is Lifting Industrial and Information-Service Growth in Shandong

A tax-data report released by Shandong tax authorities on July 10 says the province showed several bright spots in the first half of the year, including a notable AI-driven boost to industrial intelligence and information services. The report says invoiced sales in high-tech services rose 17.3 percent year over year, and rapid AI development increased demand for computing capacity, helping push invoiced sales in information transmission, software, and information-technology services up 9.9 percent. It also says AI is deepening industrial intelligence, with invoiced sales in industrial robots and industrial automatic-control equipment manufacturing rising 17.1 percent and 19.6 percent respectively. Because these observations are built on invoice and sales data, the case shows tax data continuing to evolve from a supplementary statistical input into a practical monitoring tool for AI penetration, manufacturing upgrades, and digital-service expansion.
