Industrial robot output has ranked first nationwide for six consecutive years, accounting for nearly 45% of the national total, with over 12,400 enterprises. In 2025, the province's robot industry-related product sales revenue exceeded 140.4 billion yuan with an average annual growth of 8.4% over three years. Industrial robot output has ranked first nationwide for six consecutive years.

Guangdong has built a complete industrial chain covering core components, manufacturing, and system integration. The Pearl River Delta concentrates 96% of the province's robot enterprises, contributing nearly 96.9% of sales revenue and 99.9% of tax revenue. In April 2026, Guangdong Provincial Tax Service released Measures 2.0 to support the modern industrial system, explicitly targeting AI and intelligent robots with dedicated tax services, tax ledgers for tech leaders, and policy-matching mechanisms to deliver tax benefits efficiently.
