On August 24, the State Taxation Administration said 16 taxpayer-service measures under the 2026 Spring Tax Service Campaign had already landed, with smarter filing and digital experience upgrades as core priorities. The public report says Shenzhen's Nanshan tax bureau launched scenario-based and Q&A-style assistants in the e-tax bureau's interaction module using a large AI model, cutting average wait times to two minutes and lifting issue resolution to 89 percent. Zhaoqing tax authorities also connected 24/7 smart-plus-human services across web and mobile personal-tax channels, with smart interactions accounting for more than 92 percent by early July. The case shows tax informatization expanding from isolated Q&A into a continuous digital capability spanning consultation, handling, and service coordination.
