Fuel stations in Shiyan no longer make drivers queue for invoices. Following the State Taxation Administration's push for digital e-invoices in fuel retail, Sinopec's Shiyan branch is piloting a pay-and-invoice service: once a driver pays, the system captures the transaction data and instantly generates a digital e-invoice, sending it to the Yijiejia app, a WeChat mini-program or a pre-registered email address, with no manual entry of company name or tax number. Station staff say that previously they had to key in information again and again during peak hours, slowing traffic and inviting mistakes; that work is now gone. Tax officials say transaction and invoicing data are linked in real time with a full audit trail, which helps both drivers and administration, and that from 1 November this year stations nationwide will roll out the service.

Shiyan pilots pay-and-invoice service at fuel stations
To implement the State Taxation Administration's e-invoice rollout for fuel retail, Sinopec's Shiyan branch has launched a pay-and-invoice pilot at its Sanyan fuel station. After paying, drivers no longer need to type company names or tax numbers: the system captures transaction data automatically, generates a digital e-invoice in real time and pushes it to the Yijiejia app, WeChat mini-program or a registered email. The station says manual data entry used to slow traffic and cause errors, while linked transaction and invoicing data now leaves a full audit trail and reduces missed or wrong invoices. The Maojian district tax bureau calls it smart tax practice applied to everyday life; the service is scheduled to be rolled out nationwide at fuel stations from 1 November 2026.
