Sinopec's first batch of pay-and-invoice pilot stations go live

According to Sinopec News, Beijing Petroleum, Hubei Petroleum, Guangdong Petroleum and Shandong Petroleum are Sinopec's first batch of pay-and-invoice pilot companies and have completed system upgrades at their fuel stations so the service is now live. Under the pay-and-invoice model, once a fuel retail transaction is completed the station uses the transaction data to issue a fully digitalised e-invoice to the buyer immediately through the tax authority's Leqi platform, so customers no longer need to provide invoicing details manually or wait at the station.

Sinopec has brought its pay-and-invoice service live in a first batch of pilot companies. Beijing Petroleum, Hubei Petroleum, Guangdong Petroleum and Shandong Petroleum completed upgrades to their fuel station systems first: after a purchase, the system issues a full digitalised e-invoice to the buyer immediately through the tax authority's Leqi platform based on the transaction data. Drivers no longer fill in invoicing details or wait at the station, as the transaction and the invoice are completed together.
