Guangdong's 35th National Tax Publicity Month launched in Guangzhou on April 1, where the provincial tax bureau released its second batch of tax compliance typical cases to guide the industry chain in improving compliance awareness and risk prevention and build a transparent industrial ecosystem. The six cases focus on the smart home appliance industry: Midea Group's 'organizational separation plus technology enablement' approach to overseas tax compliance; Guangdong Hotata's automated invoice management through direct business-tax system connection; Dongguan Dongjing Electric's 'one order one code' export rebate management; Huizhou Xidun Industrial's visualized upfront risk identification; Zhuhai Shuangxi Electric's 'four flows consistent' verification mechanism; and Guangdong Huaqiang Electric's 'human-machine combination' supply chain tax risk management. Midea, whose business spans smart appliances, industrial robots and new energy storage with over 41% overseas revenue, built a dual-center tax organization and launched a global tariff digital platform covering 13 countries. A Sun Yat-sen University law professor said the cases target high-frequency risks in cross-border supply chain tax management, revenue accounting, invoice management and tax incentive application, offering replicable compliance paths.
