Qidong tax services support digital and intelligent manufacturing upgrade

Qidong's tax bureau has moved its service window into docks and workshops. Marine engineering orders are strong locally, and for Honghua Ocean, whose orders are expected to exceed 2 billion yuan this year, tax officials visit regularly to flag trouble spots such as revenue recognition, cost matching and invoice issuance in long-span steel structure projects and multi-year settlements, and to help standardise R&D project filing and expense aggregation; the company enjoyed more than 30 million yuan of R&D super-deductions for 2025 and 15.16 million yuan of VAT additional deductions as an advanced manufacturing enterprise. Export tax rebates were accelerated through a green channel, with about 420 million yuan refunded to COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry by the end of August. At the smart factory of meter maker Lin Yang Energy, SMT placement machines, AGV logistics vehicles and digital dashboards run together on a flexible line that switches quickly between meter models; the site represents over 500 million yuan of investment, including more than 250 million yuan in equipment and AI digitalisation, and was recently named a national excellence-level smart factory. Tax officials use tax big data for compliance health checks and coach the firm on R&D deductions and VAT credit refunds.
