Shanghai Qingpu Tax Bureau Hosts University Open Day with Immersive Smart Tax Experience

To help young university students understand grassroots tax work and enrich summer social practice, the Qingpu District Tax Bureau held a university open-day event under the theme "Youth Experience Officer: Zero Distance to Smart Tax." Through immersive tours, hands-on experiences and round-table talks, the event built a bridge between the tax authority and students and showcased progress in tax modernization. Participants visited the service hall's functional areas, learning about tax guidance, integrated business handling and invoice services. In the self-service area, young tax officials gave on-site training; students tried the e-tax bureau and self-service terminals, experiencing the convenience brought by digital reform. A round-table session followed, where tax officials shared career insights and explained ongoing efforts to optimize taxpayer services and deepen tax administration reform.
