Wuxi's tax bureau has published its first-half tax data. Sales revenue of the city's high-tech industries rose 11.6% year on year, and core digital-economy industries rose 5.8%. Several emerging tracks did especially well: optoelectronic fusion, embodied-intelligence robots and commercial aerospace grew 36.6%, 24.4% and 24.4% respectively. Behind the numbers, local companies are racing to win orders and expand capacity. Cloud Works, an edge-cloud company, won a 520-million-yuan computing project and plans to adopt domestic AI accelerator cards at scale. Copper-clad-laminate leader Lianmao Electronics booked 1.73 billion yuan in first-half revenue, up 10% year on year, and has located its 800-million-dollar AI computing high-end electronic substrate project in Wuxi. Manufacturing, IT services and sci-tech services together account for 35.9% of all corporate sales, 2.9 percentage points higher than a year earlier, showing that industries linked to new quality productive forces are growing fast in Wuxi.
