Lianyungang tax authority uses a smart sentinel to manage farmland occupation tax

Farmland occupation tax has long suffered from approvals preceding filings and fragmented departmental data. The Lianyungang tax bureau built a mechanism on its tax-visualisation platform, combining land approval red-line maps and permanent farmland data from natural resource and agriculture departments with tax geographic information to produce an electronic map of farmland occupation tax management across the city. Data syncs as soon as land is approved, supporting precise checks and timely collection.

Farmland occupation tax has long had a familiar problem: land is taken before filings arrive, and departmental data does not connect. Lianyungang tax authorities worked out a fix by using their tax-visualisation platform as a base, merging red-line approval maps from natural resources departments and permanent farmland data from agriculture departments with their own geographic information to build a city-wide electronic map of farmland occupation tax. Which plots were approved, how much was actually occupied and whether a red line was crossed can be seen at a glance, and once approval comes through the data enters the system the same day.
