Importing three-dimensional digital models and starting a 3D printer, a beam scans layer by layer, the resin cures and a precisely structured object takes shape. In the 3D printing workshop of Shanghai UnionTech Technology Co., Ltd. in Songjiang, digital concepts are being "printed" into physical products. UnionTech has worked in industrial-grade 3D printing for more than 20 years, covering equipment, materials and printing services in a full chain, with products widely used in aerospace, dental medicine, automotive manufacturing and mould casting, providing rich industrial scenarios for the scale-up of additive manufacturing. At the recently concluded 48th WorldSkills Competition, UnionTech appeared as an official partner in the additive manufacturing event and completed all service support work. "On the competition floor, stable and reliable equipment is the foundation for competitors to exercise creativity. We provided the industrial-grade high-performance stereolithography printer AME RH2500 for the additive manufacturing event and undertook designated equipment support and full-process on-site technical services, safeguarding smooth operation of the event with professional strength," said Liu Haiyan, deputy director of the marketing department at UnionTech. "Becoming an official partner of the 48th WorldSkills Competition tests not only hard technological and product strength; sound corporate credit is an even more precious intangible asset." Liu said the organising committee set clear access standards for partners, requiring not only quality commercial reputation and brand image but also a robust accounting system and a good record of lawful tax payment and compliant social insurance contributions. Liu introduced that UnionTech embeds compliance management in the entire process of operations, R&D and service, establishing an internal control mechanism of "institutional standards, cross-department coordination, full-process control and internal-external review" that links accounting, R&D, legal and internal audit departments. In the core R&D management stage, the Songjiang district tax bureau of the Shanghai Municipal Tax Service, State Taxation Administration, moved ahead to provide special guidance on applying the R&D expense super-deduction policy and setting up standardised R&D auxiliary ledgers, helping the company clarify the boundary between R&D and production, keep solid records of working hours, equipment and materials, and ensure standardised R&D expense accounting. With long-term standardised operations and a good tax credit record, the company passed the competition's successive qualification screenings. "The WorldSkills arena is a stage for top craftsmanship and a quality window for domestic technology to iterate and go global. For enterprises, the value goes beyond brand elevation: the massive operational data and working-condition feedback accumulated in competition scenarios can also feed back into product performance optimisation," Liu said. Looking ahead, the company will keep working on technological innovation, industry-education integration and talent cultivation to further build the international reputation of domestic additive manufacturing equipment.
