Qingyuan Tax Bureau Uses AI to Reshape Property-Transaction Tax Services

The Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County tax bureau in Liaoning brought AI into pre-filing guidance for property transactions. Staff compiled a prompt template covering property type, area, total price, holding period and number of homes, added examples, and set up a guidance desk to show taxpayers how to calculate transaction taxes in an AI app. The pilot was used more than 50 times in its first week, easing counter workloads and giving sellers clarity before they transact. The bureau stresses that pre-verification rules are unchanged and AI only offers reference calculations and policy explanations.
