The 300-li Nanxi River in Yongjia is known for its water, rocks, waterfalls and ancient villages. Yongjia County's tax bureau is supporting the area's push to become a 5A scenic spot by focusing on coffee shops, study tours and boutique guesthouses.
Digital invoicing for rural cafes: At the "Nanqi" riverside cafe in Shatou township, the bureau's service team uses online intelligent interaction plus in-person support, relying on the tax-authority interaction platform to put invoice services at operators' fingertips. For remote villages, it promotes the e-tax bureau's one-click quota function with dedicated remote coaching, so operators can complete invoice quota and adjustment work without leaving their villages. Owner Chen Yingying said a trip of dozens of kilometres to issue invoices is no longer necessary.
Big data for study tours: WenZhou Jinchao International Travel, which has received over 5,000 study-tour visitors this year, used to worry about running short of invoices in peak season. The bureau uses its tax big-data platform to tag study-tour operators, analyses their invoice usage and combines booking volumes with visitor trends to forecast demand, pushing early warnings and guiding online applications that are reviewed and settled immediately. Average response time for temporary invoicing has fallen from several hours to 10 minutes.
Guesthouse support: For the seasonal, widely dispersed guesthouse sector, the bureau appointed dedicated tax advisers for guesthouses and offers appointment-based and off-peak services in high season, while coaching operators on compliant invoicing.
